God is My Strength
“Whom have I in heaven but You? And earth has nothing I desire besides You. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.” – Psalm 73:25-26
Life often reminds us of our weakness. Our bodies grow weary, our hearts experience sorrow, and our plans don’t always unfold as we hope. Yet, in the midst of life’s struggles, Psalm 73 declares a profound truth—God is our ultimate treasure and strength.
The psalmist Asaph had wrestled with doubts and frustrations, but in the end, he recognized that nothing in this world compares to God. Wealth, success, and even human relationships are temporary, but God remains constant. He is our portion—our everlasting inheritance and satisfaction.
When our strength fails, He upholds us. When our hearts break, He heals us. When we feel empty, He fills us. This psalm calls us to fix our desires on God, knowing that He alone is enough. Nothing in this world can satisfy our souls like Him.
