Joy Comes in the Morning
“Sing the praises of the Lord, you His faithful people; praise His holy name. For His anger lasts only a moment, but His favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.” – Psalm 30:4-5
David calls God’s people to worship, reminding them of His mercy and faithfulness. Though trials and sorrow may come, they are temporary. God’s favor and love endure forever.
This passage offers hope—life has seasons of hardship, but they do not last. Weeping may stay for the night, but it does not remain. Morning brings joy, renewal, and the assurance that God is working all things for good.
God’s discipline and trials are not meant to destroy us but to refine us. His love is greater than our struggles, and His grace outlasts our pain. No matter how dark the night, dawn will break with His faithfulness.
Life Application: If you’re facing a difficult season, hold on to God’s promise that joy is coming. Trust in His faithfulness, and praise Him even in the waiting.
