Never Alone, Never Forsaken
“I am with you and will watch over you wherever you go, and I will bring you back to this land. I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you.” —Genesis 28:15
These words, spoken by God to Jacob in a dream, echo through the pages of Scripture as a timeless promise to His people. Jacob was on the run—displaced, uncertain, and vulnerable—yet God met him right there with assurance: “I am with you.”
This verse reminds us that God’s presence is not bound by geography or circumstance. Whether we are walking through valleys of uncertainty, climbing mountains of opportunity, or wandering in seasons of waiting, He is with us. His watchful care is constant, and His promises never fail.
God does not abandon His children halfway. He finishes what He begins. Jacob would later see this promise fulfilled, just as we can trust God to fulfill His promises in our lives. Our journey may be winding, but our destination is secure in His hands.
Rest today in the truth that you are never alone. The God who promised Jacob is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
